Milan Public Library summer reading program 2007
The Milan Public Library will be taking registrations this week for its
Summer Reading Program. The theme this year is "Reading Road Trip
U.S.A.!" Our goal is to encourage children to enjoy year-round reading
while learning some interesting things about this great country we live
in. We will enjoy theme based crafts, music and surprises. The program
will run from Monday, August 6 through Friday, August 10 between 10 and
11 a.m. The program is open to any Milan resident between the ages of 5
and 10 years old. We will end the program with a picnic and prizes and
will be marching in the Milan Old Home Day parade on Saturday, August
11 at 1 p.m. To register, please call Jane the Library at 449-7307 or
Lois at 449-2262. Come sign up and be a part of the fun!
